(FREDERICKSBURG, VA)-Hard Times Cafe-Four Mile Fork will host a concert event, ’When The Sky Cracks Open Tour‘ to benefit MANARC and the Semper Fi Fund on Monday, July 27 at 7 p.m. National touring acts, 10 YEARS and Nonpoint, with Special Guests The Family Ruin, and Awaken The Empire have teamed up for a unique musical event.

The Fredericksburg Beard Coalition Hosts the 2nd Annual Beard and Mustache Competition to Benefit MANARC on June 13th

(FREDERICKSBURG, VA) The Fredericksburg Beard Coalition (FXBC) is holding its Second Annual Beard and Mustache Competition on June 13th at 6 p.m. at Hard Times Cafe Four-Mile Fork located at 5099 Jefferson Davis Hwy. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit MANARC.

MANARC, Borne the Battle, a 501( C ) 3 is a non-profit organization and thrift store, established to support veterans in the Greater Fredericksburg region. MANARC will donate 80% of all funds raised to the Semper Fi Fund and 20% would be used to fund MANARC operating expenses.

The Semper Fi Fund, and its program America’s Fund, provide immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post 9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families. Deborah Franks, CEO and Founder of MANARC and is honored that MANARC was asked to partner with FXBC for their annual beard and mustache competition. “We are looking forward to presenting a check to the Semper Fi Fund to help support our local area veterans,” said Franks.

The beard and mustache competition consist of 8 separate categories, which include full beard-under six inches, full beard-six inches and over, partial beard and goatee, mustache-natural, mustache-styled, freestyle, whhiskerina and military. There will be an award for the winner of each category, as well as a 50/50 raffle and a prize raffle. The cost to participate in the competition is $20 per person. Hard Times Four Mile Fork Hosts Concert With National Act to Benefit Veterans

(FREDERICKSBURG, VA)-Hard Times Cafe Four Mile Fork will host a concert with national act, Saving Abel on Saturday, Feb. 7th to benefit MANARC, a local non-profit organization supporting Veterans.

The show will begin at 8:00 p.m. with local Fredericksburg band, Phoenix 90 and Richmond’s top band, Rosie Soul. Following, the two opening acts ,Shallow Side, known for their hit song, “My Addiction” and Headliner band, Saving Abel will perform.

Tickets will be on sale at the door starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 for ages 21 and up and $15 for ages 18 to 20. They can also be purchased in advance through Hard Times online at http://national-acts.com/hard-times-cafe/
