The Snows host their 10th Annual Toys For Tots event “A Red Carpet Affair” at The Fredericksburg Fairgrounds Dec. 12th

(FREDERICKSBURG, VA) The 10th annual Toys For Tots party will be at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds events building on Saturday, Dec. 12th at 7 p.m. Jan and David Snow of Stafford have given their annual party a “A Red Carpet Affair” theme with a parade of stars. The Snows request that each guest bring a new unwrapped toy for a boy or girl to donate to Toys For Toys and they encourage guests to “come as the star they are or come as their favorite celebrity.”

The entertainment will begin at 7 p.m. with D.J., Eric Herod, followed by the band, Cool Breeze and guests appearances of local stars. The party will be catered by various local restaurants and a cash bar will be available to guests.

The Snows are anticipating their largest collection of toys since their first party in December 2006. Community members who cannot be present at the party still have the opportunity be a part of the cause. Several local Fredericksburg area businesses are participating by hosting Toys for Tots boxes at their location of business. Anyone is welcome to donate a new unwrapped toy to any of the drop off locations listed below and their donation will go to benefit the Snows Toys For Tots Extravaganza.

All donations from the drop off locations will be combined with the donations from the guests at the party. Several uniformed Marines will be present at the party and will collect all the toys to bring to the warehouse for local distribution. Cruisin For Heroes will host their 6th Annual Santa’s Helpers Toy Run on December 12th

(STAFFORD/FREDERICKSBURG, VA) Cruisin For Heroes will host their family friendly 6th Annual Santa’s Helpers Toy Run on Saturday, December 12 beginning at 10 a.m at Chili’s restaurant located at 1030 Stafford Market Place, N. Stafford. This Chili’s Restaurant is a proud supporter of Cruisin For Heroes and their mission and will open early for food and conversation before the cruise to the National Museum of the Marine Corps at 12 p.m.

Following Chili’s, the Stafford County Sheriff’s office will be providing a police escort beginning at the commuter lot across Rt. 610 from Chili’s. All vehicles are welcome to participate in the cruise and once vehicles are assembled and ready, they will head north on Rt. 1 to the National Museum of the Marine Corps, located at 18900 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Triangle.

The museum will be continuing their Toys for Tots drive all day and during the Marine Corps “Family Day.” Guests will be free to explore the exhibits and visit the museum gift store. For more information on the museum, visit http://www.usmcmuseum.com

The Snows Host Their 9th Annual Toys For Tots Roundup at The Fredericksburg Fairgrounds Dec. 13th

(FREDERICKSBURG, VA) The 9th annual Toys For Tots party will be at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds events building on Saturday, Dec. 13th at 7 p.m. Jan and David Snow of Stafford have given their annual party a roundup ho down theme this year. There is no cost to attend the party, the Snows request that each guest bring a new unwrapped toy for a boy or girl to donate to Toys For Toys.

The Snows encourage guests to wear their favorite western duds to boot stomp to the live entertainment line-up for the evening. The entertainment will begin at 7 p.m. with D.J., Eric Herod, followed by a rotation performance from local solo musician, Shannon Peterson, the band, Cool Breeze and the one and only Elvis.

The party will be catered by various local restaurants and a cash bar will be available to guests. The party is open to the community to attend, but space is limited. To receive an invitation and to be added to the guest list, email Jan Snow a request for an invite at jansnow2004@yahoo.com.

Hard Times Four Mile Fork Hosts Toys For Tots Poker Run and Ride Featuring American Hitmen- Sat. Nov. 15th

(FREDERICKSBURG, VA)- Hard Times Cafe Four Mile Fork will host the final stop of the Toys for Tots Poker Run and Ride on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 4:30 p.m. The expected three hundred bikers will arrive with police escorts and uniformed marines. The popular rock and roll band, American Hitmen will be the featured entertainment for the evening, starting at 8 p.m. and there will be a cover charge of 5 dollars after 9 p.m.

The Toys for Tots Poker Run and Ride kicks off their charitable event at the Toys for Tots Warehouse in Dumfries, VA. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the ride will begin at 11 a.m. Each driver or passenger participating will bring a new unwrapped toy or make a twenty dollar donation per hand to benefit the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Drive. The American Hitmen band members happen to be former Marines and came together in 2005, during Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving in Fallujah, Iraq. Playing acoustic guitars after missions with their Marine Corps units, the 3 Marines began writing music together and created their own brand of rock and roll.
