(FREDERICSKBURG, VA) OddBox Studios celebrates 4 Years in business on first Friday, Nov. 4th from 6 to 9 p.m. at OddBox Studios located at 526-1 Wolfe St. in Fredericksburg. OddBox Studios invites the community, friends and families to stop by the studios to take part in a true wedding experience and see what OddBox Studios is all about.
The event will feature Atlantic Wedding Video and Kerry Renee Photography. Various local businesses and experts in the wedding industry will be rolling out the red carpet for guests including Eric Herod Entertainment, The Floral Palette, Fraser Wood Elements, Elegant Cuisines, Modeling by Althea, Peacaloo Boutique, Ava Laurénne Bride, Ava Laurénne Cast & Crew, BobbyPins & Blush and Darling D’s Events. There will be refreshments and appetizers served as well as music, special raffle giveaways and more. The event is free.
(FREDERICKSBURG, VA) MANARC, Borne the Battle thrift store and non-profit organization celebrates one year anniversary Sunday, August 30 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m at 107 William Street. The thrift store will be offering a 20% discount to all customers.
MANARC will be serving complimentary refreshments and appetizers the day of the celebration. Appetizers will be provided by executive chef Christopher Henshall with Passion Fed Cuisine and there will be live music.
Over the past year, MANARC, Borne the Battle has been operating on donations from the community with the express purpose of providing support to local established Veterans organizations to improve the level of support to Veterans. MANARC-“Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, Reserve and Coast Guard”—opened its doors in September of 2014 with a mission to support Veterans.
MANARC has donated a combined $4,000 to the Semper Fi Fund, Veterans Moving Forward, Veterans on Board and VFW Post 3103 in the past year. Deborah Franks, CEO and fonder of MANARC continues to partner with businesses to raise funds to improve the level of veteran support.
“This past year has gone by fast, we have been very busy with the thrift store moving inventory in and out. We have had several successful events and have accomplished our goal to raise funds for local veterans organizations. We are very happy with all the success and the support we have received from the community,” said Franks.
