1781 Brewing Co. Celebrates Grand Opening on May 13th

(SPOTSYLVANIA, VA) 1781 Brewing Co. will be hosting their grand opening on Sat., May 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  1781 Brewing Co., established in May of 2015, is one of the first farm breweries in the great state of Virginia. It shares its space with the beautiful, local favorite vineyard and winery, Wilderness Run Vineyards.

1781 Brewing Co. and Wilderness Run Vineyards are located at 1109 Plank Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22553. This location is home to one of the most historically significant civil war battlefields, The Battle of the Wilderness. 1781 Brewing Co.’s name is significant, in that 1781 is the year that General George Washington and French General Marquis de Lafayette, along with 17,000 soldiers, defeated the British at Yorktown.

For the grand opening, the brewery will be showcasing and sampling, “The Portrait Collection.” This flagship line ties together the rich history of the breweries location with beer that would be worthy of Generals.

Live entertainment with Quinto Son will start at 5pm and food truck, Ocean Meets Land will be on site at 12 p.m.
